Paris est une fête

A couple of weeks ago, a new place opened its doors next to the République district in Paris. Welcome to Le Triangle, a restaurant and a microbrewery. I've been there twice now with my friend Laura and it keeps getting better. One of the things I like the most about this place is the menu. It always changes – but the dishes stay delicious.

Fried squid and crayfish

Salmon gravlax and potatoes with a horseradish sour cream

They even propose handcrafted beers. And if you don’t know what to choose, don't hesitate to ask the waiters or the owners, they’ll know how to help you.

As you may know, dessert is my favourite part of a meal. And I wasn't disappointed with the lemon pie and the tiramisu we ordered. It's seriously good, and the best one I've had in a restaurant. You should definitely try it!

Le Triangle is the perfect place, whether you want to have a romantic dinner or to share a good meal with your friends. Check out their fan page on Facebook!

Black XS Festival

Do you know the concert hall Le Trianon in Paris? It welcomed the first Black XS Festival this weekend. Lilly Wood & The Prick, Temples, Au Revoir Simone and Guy Ivory were among the headliners for this first edition. I always enjoy a music festival, especially when I don't really know all the bands and artists. Thanks to my friend Rosa, I had the chance to be part of this great experience! Here are some of the pictures I took...

SATURDAY: Arthur Beatrice, Au Revoir Simone, Thomas Azier and Temples

Sunday night live

It's Sunday and you don't feel like staying at home tonight? There's only you can go to: Kennedy's Bar. The weekly open mic night of this Irish pub happens on Sundays.

The good thing about Kennedy's is that when you go to perform, you have a free beer. That should definitely motivate you!

The food is classic but good: burgers, appetizers and salads. My favorite dish is the calamaris with fried potatoes. The sauce is AMAZING. It costs about 9€ but it's worth it! You can share it with a friend as the basket is quite big.

Kennedy's is one of my favourite places in Munich. It's really nice if you want to enjoy live music and discover talented people in an English-speaking atmosphere. Plus, you always meet cool people there!

Happy Hours!

Hey, today I'm going to write about one of my favorite places in Munich. I've been in love with it since the first time I set foot in it. Seriously, I've gone to Sausalitos more times than I can count but I juste love it. I mean: good food, nice music and great cocktails, what else can you ask for?

You have to know that from Sunday to Thursday between 5 and 6pm, these "jumbo" cocktails (that's how the biggest cocktails are called) cost 5€. From 6 to 8pm, you pay them only half price. And then from 11pm, you pay your jumbo cocktail the price of a normal one. That's called happy hours, dearie!

If you're not that much into cocktails, no worries there's also happy hours for food. You have a good choice of Mexican food such as Quesadillas, Burritos, Fajitas or Enchiladas.

Happy hours for food are only on Mondays so that we can properly begin the week. I'd advise you to make a reservation as it's crowded sometimes!

I think you understood that I'd definitely recommend Sausalitos (but the one in Türkenstraße, I didn't really like the one in Marienplatz). It's perfect if you want to have an afterwork cocktail or if you want to have fun with your friends on the weekends. I hope you don't mind the loud music, because it can be pretty noisy.
